Asin Given Poor Rating

For some reason, ever since the time Asin has landed in Bollywood with big dreams and to the extent of letting go of a good career in the south, she has been facing few hiccups. As such, there are instances where Bollywood folks have mentioned about the attitude problem she has. Now, here is another one.

It is heard that recently Kareena Kapoor was watching the Malayalam and Tamil versions of the film Bodyguard. She was advised by director Siddique as she is due to reprise the role in Hindi version. The Malayalam version had Nayantara and the Tamil version had Asin doing the roles.

Sharing her thoughts, Bebo who is known for her frank nature reportedly said that she found Nayan act more realistic and natural than Asin. However, she realised what she said and clarified that she liked Asin too. But then, it was too late. While most of them agreed on Kareena opinion, it is heard that Asin was not keen to take up this matter while Bebo was doing her best to make amends.

Hansika Captures Tamannah 'Seat'

The fight between the heroines for the top league is always hot and even an inch of space will end up with another starlet taking that spot. Now, it appears that something like that has happened between Tamannah and Hansika Motwani. The venue for all this is the Kollywood circuit.

Apparently, Tammu who shot to fame with Tollywood switched her camp and went to Kollywood. In no time, she paired up with the top league heroes and became the queen. However, she was yet to prove her mettle in Tollywood with the likes of Kajal, Anushka, Ileana around giving tough fight.

But then she has returned to Tollywood and within no time, her seat in Kollywood has been captured by Hansika. Incidentally, Hansika got craze with her debut film ‘Maappillai’ and repeated the act with her latest offering ‘Engeyum Kadhal’. However, comparisons are rife between both beauties among the Tamil Thambis so it remains to be seen how long Hansika can hold it.

Reason Behind Rajinikanth illness

Super Star Rajinikanth, who is in hospital presently due to high fever and bronchitis? He has been admitted to the hospital for the second time this week. Reportedly, Rajnikanth condition is stable and he will be discharged after a few days. As per the doctors reports he will not be discharged immediately and will have to spend a few days in the ICU.

As per the sources the truth behind the Rajini illness is he stooped the habit of drinking alcohol. Rajini usually takes few pegs of Whiskey everyday and he could have as many as eight to nine pegs of whisky on occasions. Rajinikanth family members and his spiritual Guru had advised the 60 year old actor to stop the drinking alcohol by considering his health conditions.

However, on his birthday (December 12, 2010) the actor decided that he would kick the drinking habit. And eventually, a couple of months ago he gave up drinking and from past two months he is not drinking the alcohol. Because of his decision to quit alcohol drinking, he gets a bit restless sometimes. So this makes him sick.

Speedy recovery and soon he is going to come back on to the sets of Rana with good health!

Nayanatara Steps into Bollywood

South Indian heroines going to Bollywood is not a big surprise! Popular actress Nayanatara who got a big fame with her latest hit ‘Simha’ is debuting in Bollywood film industry, as usual she is the following footsteps Illeana, Trisha, Asin and Genelia.

Prabhu Deva who directed the remake film ‘Wanted’ with Salman Khan and proved himself to be money spinner to the producers is now  gearing up to direct yet another movie with Salman Khan titled ‘Wanted-2’ in which Nayanatara is considered as female lead.

Currently the discussions are going on and if everything goes good then this film will hit the floors soon. All the fans and critics are eagerly waiting to see will Nayanatara succeed in her first attempt in the Bollywood or not.

Rajinikanth Hospitalised For Second Time

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was hospitalised for the second time within a week after he complained of breathlessness.

Rajinikanth, who is currently shooting for his latest film Rana in which he plays a triple role, was admitted to the Isabel hospital.

On April 29, he was admitted to the same hospital briefly for exhaustion and dehydration.
   
The 60-year-old actor was stable, hospital sources said.
   
Rajinikanth hospitalisation last week came on the day on which Rana, a period film in which he is paired opposite Bollywood heroine Deepika Padukone went on the floors.

Rajnikant was also being treated for allergic bronchitis, hospital sources added.

Heroine Daughter 'Tempting' Now

The scoring areas for any heroine are her glamour and sexy appeal more than her performing abilities. And when it is a star kid, the expectations are double.

This is something which happened during the release of the film ‘Josh’ as it marked the debut of Karthika, daughter of the yesteryears ravishing beauty Radha.

Truth Behind Rajni Illness

Life in Chennai came to a partial standstill on April 29 when superstar Rajnikant took ill exactly half an hour after he reported for the mahurat of his most ambitious film to date K S Ravikumar Rana. The actor has a triple role in the film.

However, he had barely been on the set when he complained of restlessness and around noon he was rushed to Isabella Hospital in Mylapore. His fans stood outside the hospital despite the harsh afternoon sun beating down hard on them; refusing to budge. The mood all around was gloomy.

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Dr M Karunanidhi and his daughter, Kanimozhi also visited the superstar. Rajni was discharged later in the evening.

However, a source says that one of the reasons for the superstar being restless is because he is currently on the wagon. Elaborating further our source adds, “For nearly 40 years Rajni has been a heavy drinker. Many Bollywood actors who have had a drink with him know that Rajni could have as many as eight to nine pegs of whisky on occasions.

Rajinikanth Hospitalized

South Super star Rajinikanth has been admitted to St Isabel Hospital today (April 29th, 2011) in Chennai with a stomach infection.

Rajini triple role film Rana shooting has been started today morning at AVM Studios in Chennai with Pooja. Earlier today, Rajini was at the AVM Studios for Rana’s "mahurat shot" and he had a lunch in the sets of Rana, after lunch he complained of illness and he was immediately rushed to the hospital where the diagnosis revealed food poisoning. The doctors advised to Rajinikanth to take few days rest.

Rajinikanth wife Latha said to Rajini fans has no reason to panic. Rajini is going to recover soon and he will be back to Rana shooting with good health!

Rana will be produced by Rajini and Eros International and it will be directed by KS Ravikumar, who has already worked with the star in Muthu and Narasimha. Rana will feature cinematography by R Rathnavelu and Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman will be scoring the music for this big budget venture.

Heroine Ready for without Blouse?

Hansika is now a noted figure in Tamilnadu with her latest film beside Dhanush. The media has spread news that she is going to do a without blouse role. The film 'Aravan' is being made with the backdrop of 1750 AD.

“To meet the nativity of that period backdrop, Hansika is acting without blouse. There are few natural scenes in the film as per the script where Hansika has to be go without blouse from back while bathing in a river”, mentioned a few Tamil and Kannada dailies as well.

But that is not Hansika. She is Dhansika, a Tamil heroine who acted in ‘Perenmai’ earlier. Media got mistook and Hansika is on fire for this without blouse news.

Dhansika must be a lucky lady who got free publicity as her name is sounding close to Hansika. Probably she may be giving a darshan on par with Mandakini in 'Ram Teri Ganga Mailee'. Vasantha Balan is the maker of this film.

Rajinikanth Rana First Look

South superstar Rajini much awaited upcoming film Rana first look was out finally. In this historical action film Rajinikanth will be appeared in a triple role. For this film Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been confirmed for one of female lead roles so far. Now the latest news is that actresses Tabu and Ileana have been confirmed for the other two female lead roles. Sonu Sood will play the villain role.

Rana film touted to be a historic periodic film and will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages simultaneously.

The movie was launched recently at AVM studios in Chennai and the movie regular shooting will starts from May first week it seems. As per the sources Rajini was not happy with the makeup look of Deepika Padukone opposite to Young Rajinikanth in the film. Super star Rajinikanth requested the make-up team to take time to make proper look for Deepika. So the shooting has been delayed, otherwise it was supposed to start on April 25th!

Rana will be produced by Rajini and Eros International and it will be directed by KS Ravikumar, who has already worked with the star in Muthu and Narasimha. Rana will feature cinematography by R Rathnavelu and music by A R Rahman.

Rana is expected to release in the early year of 2012!

Hero Karthik Entering Wed-Lock with Ranjani

Yes its true Awara fame Karthik will be soon entering the wed-lock with Ranjani, who is pursuing M.A English in Stella Maris collage in Chennai and she is a daughter of Chinnasamy & Jothi Meenakshi. Karthi was going high on his career too; he recently bagged a hit with Siruthai, which is Telugu remake of Viramarkudu.

The marriage will takes place soon. The marriage will take place on July 3, 2011. Top South India Celebrities are expected to be invited for this wedding. The venue of the wedding is yet to be finalized.

Magadheera Hungama in Chennai

Ram Charan, Kajal starrer Magadheera, which has been directed by Rajamouli is being dubbed in Tamil with the name of Maaveran. Udhayanidhi Stalin and Allu Aravind are jointly presenting this film under the banner of Red Gaint Movies.

Though the movie is released two years ago the makers are planning to release the movie in a grand scale in Kollywood. Earlier the audio of the movie is reportedly said to be released on April 16th on the hands of Rajinikanth, but the superstar couldn’t arrive on the reported date, so the Audio has been postponed by a week. The audio has been released in Chennai yesterday and Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam were the chief guests who launched the audio in a grand event.

Ram Charan, Allu Aravind, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Suhasini, Ramnarayan, Dharani, RB Chowdary, AM Ratnam, Rama Rajamouli and Allu Sirish graced the event.

I Don't Mind If My Daughter Wears Swim Suit

Actress Radha, the darling of many hearts in 80s is now back with her daughter Kartika. Kartika acted in Josh along with Naga Chaitanya and she was not seen again. But now she acted in Tamil film ‘Ko’ along with Jeeva.

Radha appeared in a press conference along with her daughter and talked, “I said that I’ll be back to movies long ago, after my marriage. But I had children at that time and I got busy handling my home. My three children and their education became my priority and hence I fulfilled that first. When Kartika said that she is keen in acting, I felt happy and came back to fulfill my unfulfilled dreams through her. It’s a passion continuation, that’s it”.

Radha added, “Kartika understands how film industry works. She was a bit fearful initially, but now she is getting along with the field. She had to go to Norway for the shoot and hence I accompanied her as these are her initial days. I’ll leave her fully when I know that she is capable of handling things by herself. And coming to glamour on screen, I don’t mind if the script demands. After all, I had worn my first swim suit in my first film itself”.

Prabhu Deva Nayantara Wedding Fixed

It has been quite a while since the buzz was on about the hot affair between Prabhu Deva and Nayantara. The turmoil that Prabhu Deva went through and the friction that arose made strong rounds in media circles. Now, another update has come and this has to do with their wedding.

Well, sources reveal that Prabhu Deva and Nayantara are likely to be man and wife in the month of July. An official announcement is expected soon and sources reveal they were due for getting married last year. However, the divorce settlements between Prabhu Deva and his ex-wife Ramlath delayed the proceedings.

While the new date is yet to be announced, many of their well wishers are hoping that the journey forward goes smooth for both. Rajinikanth ‘Rana’ Delayed

Super star Rajinikanth triple role film ‘Rana’ shooting has been delayed, the movie shooting was supposed to take off on April 18, but now it has been postponed by a week due to the delay in the art work of the film. However the proper reason for the delay is not yet known exactly.

As per the sources the movie producers Soundarya Rajinikanth and Eros said that the delay is due to the Art work and team is erecting a huge and well-designed set at AVM Studios and the set reflects the era of 17th century. The other source from Mumbai says that Rajinikanth didn’t like the make-up look of Deepika Padukone opposite to Young Rajinikanth in the film. Super star Rajinikanth requested the make-up team to take time to make proper look for Deepika.

In this film Rajinikanth is playing the triple roles. Deepika Padukone has been confirmed so far for the one of the female lead roles in this film. Movie makers are still waiting to finalize the other two heroines. So far many names were under scanner, but not yet decided.

It will be directed by KS Ravi Kumar. This movie will be a joint venture between Eros International and Ocher Studios. The film will feature cinematography by R. Rathnavelu and music will score by AR Rahman.

Hopefully the movie shooting will starts from next Monday (April 25th, 2011).

Kamal Hassan Next New Movie

Versatile actor Kamal Hassan is going to do a crucial role of a traffic constable for the movie title confirms.

Which is a remake of a recent hit of a Malayalam film ‘Traffic’. Kamal has inspired over the script which has novelty in it. It is learnt that this flick is being produced in Tamil as well as in Telugu.

Recently Kamal Hassan has launched a movie titled ‘Viswarupam’ in the direction of ace director Selvaraghavan. The production team of this flick could not get visas for shooting in foreign countries. In this gap Kamal wants to do the role of traffic constable for the film “Traffic”.
